ModernRock.com currently ships to United States addresses only. Our shipping charge covers postage and handling. Handling includes fees and materials used to prepare and ship your order.

The US Postal Service does not provide tracking numbers for First Class and Media Mail.
If you select UPS shipping, we will email you a tracking number when we ship your order, which you will be able to track on the UPS web site. However, UPS does not ship to PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses, does not deliver on weekends, and may require a signature for delivery. If you request UPS and UPS does not deliver to your address, we will convert your order to First Class Mail or Priority Mail and reduce your shipping charge accordingly.
For UPS orders, please do not include a PO box in your address. UPS will not accept packages with a PO box in the address.
Larger orders may be upgraded to United Parcel Service (UPS Ground or 2nd Day Air), at no additional charge, at our discretion, to allow delivery tracking.
Virginia residents: We must add 5% sales tax to your order.
Florida residents: We must add sales tax from 6% to 7.5% depending on your shipping address.
ModernRock.com cannot be responsible for lost or stolen items if: 1) You request shipment by First Class Mail or Media Mail and 2) You specify a shipping address to an office or apartment or condo building or a wrong address. In office buildings there are other parties involved after the US Postal Service delivers your order. In apartment and condo buildings packages might be left with third parties or in the open. If you do not want this type of delivery to be at your own risk, please select UPS shipping, which is trackable to its final destination.

There are two steps in determining when you will receive your order:
Our daily cut-off for same day orders is 11 a.m. Eastern Time. If we receive your order by 11 a.m. Eastern Time, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays), we will usually be able to ship it that same day. If we receive it after 11 a.m. Eastern Time, we will usually be able to ship it the next business day. We do not ship orders on weekends or holidays. We will notify you within 2 business days if we are sold out of an item you have ordered.
If you give us a billing address and phone number that is different from what your credit card company has on file, please allow one additional day for processing.
2) The part of the delivery service:
a) The US Postal Service: Once your order leaves our warehouse, the US Postal Service controls all aspects of the final delivery to your address. We are unable to track the delivery status, and the US Postal Service does not guarantee delivery within a specific period of time. Please allow for additional delivery time around holidays due to heavy mail volumes.
USPS Media Mail: The most likely delivery times will be within 3 to 10 business days (Monday through Saturday) from the date we mail your order, but you should allow as many as 28 calendar days.
USPS 1st Class Mail: The most likely delivery times will be within 2 to 5 business days (Monday through Saturday) from the date we mail your order, but you should allow as many as 21 calendar days.
b) United Parcel Service: If you select to have your order shipped via UPS Ground or UPS 2nd Day Air, we will provide you the tracking number so you can monitor the shipping status on the UPS web site (www.ups.com) or by phone. UPS does not deliver on weekends.
UPS Ground Service: Please allow 2 to 6 business days (Monday through Friday) when shipping via UPS Ground.
UPS 2nd Day Air: This is the most reliable delivery option when time is a factor. This service will deliver your order two business days (Monday through Friday)from the date it is shipped from our warehouse.

The most common question about e-commerce is "will my credit card information be safe?" The answer is yes. Yahoo! Shopping uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption, the standard for Internet commerce. SSL encryption provides proven security for millions of transactions every year.
ModernRock.com does not store your credit card information on our computers; we only use it to process your order. Additionally, ModernRock.com will never share your credit card information with any outside organization.
We use an Address Verification System (AVS) to help protect customers from unauthorized use of their cards. When you place an order, please enter your billing address and phone number the same way your credit card company has that information on file. This will help us make sure we are shipping your order to the right address.

Credit cards issued outside the USA
ModernRock.com reserves the right not to accept credit cards issued outside the United States of America. It is very costly and occasionally impossible to obtain authorization and address verification from non-USA card issuers. If you live in the USA and a non-USA credit card is your only choice, please give us as much information as possible about the card you are using: the name of the issuing bank, their address, their customer service phone number and email address, and your billing address on file with them. This will significantly increase the chances of approving the transaction.
When you place an order with us, you are stating that you are the cardholder of the credit card and that the charge is authorized. Gift Certificates are delivered by e-mail immediately after you place your order. This is a good last minute choice. Gift Certificates can be redeemed for anything we sell on Yahoo! Shopping.
When you place a gift order where the shipping address is different from your billing address, please expect that we might need to phone you to verify your order. Gift orders are common with those using stolen credit cards. Our computer software helps us spot fraudulent gift orders. If there is something unusual about an order we may need to phone you to be sure you are the one who placed the order. We may also use other verification steps to make sure you authorized the order. We update our inventory on Yahoo! Shopping several times every day. We make every effort possible to process and mail orders received before 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time that same day. The likely processing time (e.g. "Usually ships in 1 day") is shown for each item and is updated daily. "Usually ships in 1 day" means we have sufficient stock to cover high order volumes and we will almost always be able to process and mail those items the same day. We are able to process and send almost all orders within 48 hours.

As our inventory is updated several times every day, if you saw an item listed it means we had it in stock within the past few hours. Regretfully, we sometimes receive more orders for an item than we expect, and we may be temporarily sold out of an item that you ordered.
We have a "no backorder" policy because we do not want to hold your order hostage if we are sold out of an item. We want you to have the flexibility to place your order somewhere else as soon as possible. We will automatically cancel your order if we are sold out and we will notify you as soon as possible.
If you have ordered multiple items we will process and mail the items that we have in stock (we want to deliver what you have ordered as quickly as possible) and cancel the sold out portion of your order. We will reduce the shipping and handling charges based on the number of items shipped.
When we notify you of a canceled order by email, please feel free to write back and request that we special order the item for you. We will attempt to obtain the item for you as a special order for 30 days. If we cannot obtain the item in 30 days, we will cancel the special order and notify you by email.

ModernRock.com's policy is to not charge your credit card until we have shipped your order to you. The only exception to this rule is pre-orders of new releases. To secure a new release before its release date and lock in our low price for you, we will order the item within one business day and charge your credit card. We will ship your pre-ordered item by the release date, or when it becomes available, and notify you when we ship it. Release dates are estimates and subject to change. Our warehouse will not be able to process your return without a Return Authorization Number.
You may return any item that is unopened, in its original wrapping within 30 days from date of purchase. We are not able to accept returns after 30 days for any reason. Upon receipt of the item at our warehouse, we will credit your credit card for the amount of the purchase, minus shipping and handling charges. A restocking fee of $1.50 will also apply.
